Review: "Home for the Holidays" by Jeaniene Frost

"The Bite Before Christmas" features two novellas- one by Lynsay Sand and a novella from The Night Huntress series called Home for the Holidays by Jeaniene Frost.  I only read Home for the Holidays... just had to get my Bones fix!

For Bones' birthday, Cat has decided to invite their close friends for a surprise birthday party and to stay for the holidays.  As usual, throuble soon follows.  They find out Annette, who has flown in for Bones' party, is missing.  Ian finds her and a room full of her splattered blood.  There's not a whole lot else to say about this book without giving the story away.  I definitely enjoyed the book but it was kind of on par with the last Night Huntress book for me... good but not great.  I did really enjoy getting some more of Ian.  He was a big part of this book.  Found out some interesting info about him at the end :)  Plus, we got a look at the beginning of his book- The Night Prince series.  I'm really looking forward to that series.  I love Bones but Ian's been right up there too.  I just love his sense of humor and even though he seems like a bad guy he always comes through for Cat and Bones.
